Gerflor was founded in 1937 and has become a specialist and world leader in flexible floor-covering. They serve the sports, health, education, commerce, industrial, transportation, and housing sectors. The company serves over 100 countries from their headquarters in Lyon, France.
ROMUS® Worldwide
Gerfloor manufactures court floors for many NBA arenas and the traveling courts for the NCAA's March Madness tournament. In my home state of Utah, Gerflor manufactures passenger rail car floors for Swiss firm Stadler in their US headquarters and manufacturing plant in Salt Lake City. They also produce flooring for Oshkosh AeroTech's market-leading Jetway® passenger loading bridges production site in Ogden. ROMUS is a wholly owned Gerflor subsidiary that produces special flooring tools, among other related tools and materials. Their tools are created for the trades and are distributed through professional channels.
