N5230T professional shears feature strong, 3.0mm thick AUS6A stainless steel blades for corrosion resistance. KAI heat treats the blades to a Rockwell hardness of 56 to produce a sharp, sturdy edge.
Construction is full-tang, extending the stainless steel from the blade through the handles to add strength by supporting the handles. The ergonomic handles are soft ABS plastic, ensuring a secure, comfortable grip.
KAI bonds Teflon™ to the N5230T blades. This non-stick coating makes these shears ideal for cutting tapes and other adhesive materials.
The stainless steel adjustment screw ensures perfect tension for the life of the tool.
Cutting applications for this model include tapes, textiles, cloth, leather, paper, paperboard, film, and canvas.
