Shears, KAI 10" Angled Professional, Aramid/Kevlar® Serrated

The 7000 Series professional tailoring shears feature 3.7mm to 4.0mm thick AUS8A stainless steel for high strength and corrosion resistance.
KAI further heat treats the stainless steel to a Rockwell hardness of 60 to produce a more acute, sharper, and durable edge.
Aggressive serrations hold tough materials in place for more efficient cuts. Grey handles identify these scissors for optimal use with aramid fabrics e.g. Kevlar®, Nomex®, Dyneema®, Spectra® and other cut-resistant textiles.
Construction is full-tang, extending the stainless steel from the blade through the handles to further enhance strength by supporting all torque application points.
The hardened duplex interlock fastener prevents the screw from becoming loose and keeps the blades properly aligned when cutting thick materials or challenging strands.
Ergonomic Santoprene® TPV handles provide comfort and control for long hours of cutting.
Finally, KAI leaves the 7000 Series with an elegant matt finish.
Other cutting applications for this model include textiles, cloth, leather, paper, paperboard, cardboard, film, canvas, rubber, and plastic.
